A Red Tailed Hawk sits patiently before his appearance in Sundays demonstration put on by the Canadian Raptor Conservatory who specialize in combining entertainment with education. Many other interesting creatures were at this years Sunoco Westminster Ponds Earth Day Celebration including another Hawk, Owl and even laughing Cockatoos brought by Laugh Guards member, The Bird Man, Pat Obrien. Undaunted by wet grass from the morning rain, hundreds of trees were planted in the North East section of the park by many muddy enthusiastic Londoners who showed up for the event.
